On the other hand, I can't believe that if you got a clinical cure, lets say in a "pre-clinical" trial with one person, that you would not speed up the process to market tremendously. For example, lets say LCT cures one person in pre-clinical studies, that should open the floodgates to treatment for all within a very short period of time. Of course, you would have to do this in Italy or any other country BUT America. I think they should focus on transplanting 1.4 million pig islet cells, so if 200 to 300 thousand die during transplant handling, etc., you still wind up with 1.1 or so million viable cells. That will hopefully be enough for a complete cure. I still don't understand why they only transplant only 400,000 in one person.
