In my opinion, LCT may have the most promising technology in the world today for curing diabetes. Furthermore, unlike the use of human islets with immunosuppression, the LCT approach has the potential to treat virtually all cases of diabetes without the potentially debilitating side-effects of toxic immunosuppression.
