Think about what you just said, Alan, and ask if it makes any sense. You are saying that it may be true that to create a cloned twin of an adult may impose a short, sick life on a human being, but since the IDEA of cloning causes you no ethical concerns, let it proceed.
You seem to have a vision of anti-cloning sentiment coming from a bunch of "pro-life" (horrors!) types with whom you disagree, and so cloning must be okay.
Can we bring some science back into this discussion, and forget the silly divisive politics?
