What you say may be true. However, my impression is that most of the opposition to cloning is not because of the danger of creating an ill individual. It is based on aversion to the IDEA of cloning a twin. I see little advantage in cloning to produce a baby. But I certainly have no sense of horror at the idea of doing so.
