reguarding my diabetes anyway...
They stumble on to a way to cure or reverse the damn thing before it starts or while its still in its early stages.
Its considered a "cure". People will then stop working on the disease and, although in 20-30-40 years type1 diabetes would have indeed been wiped out, it would leave us all utterly SoL.
