The list of approaches towards skirting the immune system grows: genetically engineered islets, encapsulated islets, bone marrow chimerism, sertoli cell protection, pharmaceutical immune system modulation, and now primordial organ cell grafting. Are there any other approaches to be aware of? It would be nice for someone such as Klausen to compare and contrast progress in these.
