I personally have never considered small biotech companies like this to be good investment opportunities. Sure you could make a bundle if you get in early, but it is much more likely that you will lose everything you invest. If you buy stock from a company like this, 1) use money you can afford to lose, and 2) tell yourself that it's a charitable donation... do it because you support their work. Chances are slim that you will ever see a return on your investment.
