I also agree

My personal feeling is that the nearest we shall get to a cure will be when pump manufacturers are able to devise a reasonably durable glucose sensor and to use it to safely and reliably control a pump. It is very unlikely that INCAP, Stem cell or Islet sheet
medical will cure diabetes, firstly the drug companies would not allow it as it s a billion dollar business and if any one does find a cure it will quietly disappear as the drug companies would give a fat payout. I hate when people give hope that one day there well
be a cure, the only cure for this disease is manage it for the rest of your life. Sure with
new technology coming out diabetes will be easier to manage, but we will still be pumping Insulin into us for the next 100years. I like to be proven wrong, but very unlikely.
