Last week one of the two U.S. Senators from my state (Tennessee),in response to the Supreme Court having overturned a Texas sodomy law, stated that he would support a Constitutional Amendment outlawing gay marriage. You remember him don't you? The only physician in the U.S. Senate and a heart transplant surgeon to boot. Just doing what the people of Tennessee elected him to do!!! (When he isn't opposing most stem cell research and trying to outlaw all forms of human cloning.)
