I actually wasn't involved in this particular JDRF lobbying effort, I just recieved the e-mail and since it pertains to islet cells, thought I would post it here. I don't actually know the answer to your question, so I asked someone at JDRF who is involved in the grassroots advocacy and hopefully I'll have an answer soon. Talk to you soon.
