I am taking pork insulin and have an A1C of under 6.5 - same as it was on Lantus and Humalog. The difference is that I can now feel the lows again and can treat them before I end up unconscious. Its is an amazing change for me! I have never taken beef insulin so I can't comment on that but the pork is MUCH better for me than the others.
