I agree with Ellen and Velinda--the insulin pump has made a huge improvement in my quality of life. No it is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but so many things are made easier by it: coping with the dawn phenomenon, coping with PMS effects on blood sugar control, coping with exercise. Personally, I thought it was great that Larry pushed Mary about the pump! BTW, I call my pump "Mr. Pumpy."
