I totally agree.The diabetic who almost died in China years ago
knew enough to find a pig and get insulin out to save his life.
We should be able to take chances and use islets now without the
FDA telling us we have to have dangerous pancreas transplants instead and should be able to try things like pig islets and
sertoli cells combined if we want.Our bodies are dieing and I
know plenty of type 1's who have died.Perhaps it means spending
some of our own money but I think we should have some say rather
than the FDA saying sorry no islets, no stem cells etc etc.
