am just wondering if there is a way to pressure the insurancce
companies to pressure the FDA etc. to allow more than 40 islet transplants and to consider pig islets and some of the innovative approaches that are being tried on a very small scale.We seeem to have no power as diabetics but perhaps the
insurance companies could use their influence since for the most part the money is coming out of their pockets.The insurance companies just lose with all the gadjets and paying for all the complications.
