Dr. Bachrach you are totally right that no one has proven benfotiamine has efficacy in humans.
However, to say that it will not work because no salesman has come knocking is not a reason to believe it will not work.
No salesman has come knocking because there is no patented compound for them to sell that has been approved by the FDA.
Again, there is no proof that it will work either.
