A co-worker told me this afternoon that his 4 year old daughter's pediatric endocrinologist was going to start her on inhalable insulin in 2 weeks after much pressure from both parents. I was not aware that inhablable insulin had been appoved by the FDA. Is this the case or is this what some might consider a questionable test by using a child this young? If anyone has any comments, I would deeply appreciate your thoughts on this subject.
