People used to say non-invasive meters won't come. They have now (allthough I haven't been able to use them :() .
This time of the year popular magazines carry "What next" type of articles and Type 1 diabetes almost allways gets mentioned as a disease that has good thing coming (Newsweek for example). I think Type 1 is a clearly defined disease (islets get hammered in pancreas) which makes it imlho best candidate for example stem cell cure.
