I note this joint communique from the ADA and JDRF. I think this is great! But it got me thinking, wouldn't the diabetes community be better off if we all spoke with one strong, united voice? Wouldn't it be better if these 2 organizations combined?. As a JDRF member, I am strongly committed to research to cure this damn disease, but wonder sometimes if we all aren't missing some opportunities to make a difference in diabetes cure and care because there are 2 groups out there instead of 1. Just a thought.
