You know, young Diabetics will most likely try to get part time jobs during their last few years in highschool or something like the rest of their friends. I just think that fast food and places like that may not fully understand what it takes to make sure that things stay under control throughout the day.
I work part time at a clothing store, thankfully with people that have had to deal with Diabetes in their family before, so they allow me to take care of myself however I see fit, but I know that this probably isn't the case for most places.
I was just curious about other people's thoughts. I think that what you're doing is wonderful, keep it up!
