Sorry guys, but I have to respond.
My son has been a patient at this practice for five years now and my daughter was diagnosed there. I cannot say enough good about the team that works in that office or the wonderful affect their approach has had for my children, and our family.
Our children are very well regulated(with A1C's consistently in the 6's) and have learned how to manage their very active lifestyles because of these physicians. Both my children are active in various sports and other activities. I feel the advice we have received from these physicians and their team has been immeasureably helpful in helping them to maintain a normal life and not feel tied down to their diabetes regimen.
Having been at the self-proclaimed "best" diabetes clinic, we know first hand what most ped-endos are like(not even close to adequate, IMHO). Their clinic was our third doctor change for our son, and we feel, it has been the best choice for our children's care. If these articles help other ped endos to give other children the kind of care they deserve until we find a cure for them, then I say the "worthless drivel" is far from worthless after all.
