Hi everyone and please take the time to assist here. My sons are type 1 diabetics and it has just occurred to me that I, and many others , have no idea what the bsl readings should be after a meal.

My son is on actrapid and protophane (and still in honeymoon). We give him his insulin 15 minutes prior to eating but his readings for 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes after are >18 (downunder standards) but OK by lunch.

Is this acceptable as I am shocked. I cant beleive I have not tested as it has been nearly 2 years. I look forward to replies please.

Ed
