So true about the socio/psychobabble. Maybe this kind of drivel is needed to get published. Despite the trendy vocabulary, one which normally means a hopelessly conformist message, the underlying thesis seems to make some sense in this case. I have found that if one has something important to say, it will generally be said in plain English. If one has nothing important to say, the speaker will often try to impress with form, rather than content.
