To underscore a good point raised by Dr. B, just reading this report about a neuropathy conference funded by a grant to the American Diabetes Association gives you a sense of the kind of wasteful - noncure focused meetings and studies that only do a disservice to our kids with diabetes.
The supporting grant was from the NIDDK - your tax dollars hard at work!
