Even though the results were inconsistent, they tell me that this method is onto something. I still believe that more work is needed to identify the key variables that differentiate the successful cases from the marginal ones, and to learn how to control those variables. That is a much more focussed and predictable undertaking than some of the the highly speculative investigations that seem to garner most of the funding.
Nobody is saying that Diatranz has the cure today, but they certainly have results that must be built on. I don't think anyone else in the world has advanced this far, and done so despite professional and bureaucratic opposition that would have defeated almost anyone.
