[The effect of microwave resonance therapy on the clinical and metabolic indices of diabetic patients.]
[Article in Russian]
Efimov AS, Ugarov BN, Epshtein EV, Zubkova ST, Levenets LS, Naumenko VG, Efimov DA, Danilova AI.
It has been established during studies carried out in 195 diabetes mellitus patients that the action of microwave resonance therapy on the points used in traditional acupuncture accelerates carbohydrate metabolism compensation, improves peripheral circulation. The beneficial effect of microwave resonance therapy on the clinical and metabolic characteristics in diabetes mellitus patients is likely to be determined by the lowering of the content of certain contrainsular hormones (cortisol, adrenaline) and by the improvement of the parameters of the T-cell immunity system.

[The theory of the sanatogenesis (the mechanism of the therapeutic effect) of microwave resonance therapy.]
[Article in Russian]
Efimov AS, Sit'ko SP.
On the basis multiannual personal experience in millimeter resonance therapy in the treatment of several diseases (diabetes mellitus, ulcers, etc. [correction of and oth]) data are reported on substantiating the theory of sanogenesis of this method. Various biochemical, immunological, hormonal studies in the experiment and clinic indicate that the basis of the treatment effect of electromagnetic radiation is restoration of homeostasis by activation of compensatory systems. The levels and systems influenced by electromagnetic radiation are indicated. The stage-like character of these influences is stressed.
