Well, as the resident neurologist on this forum, I must say that this discussion aroused feelings of fear, shame and inadequacy in me. I have never heard of a relationship between IDDM or insulin use and tics or Tourette's.
So, I snuck away and did a medline search and found absolutely nothing published about this. If anyone else is aware of an article or other publication on this topic, please let me know.
Perhaps we could develop a series of case studies suitable for publication.
