I do feel a little ashamed to have let myself denigrate to the level that is consistently shown on this forum (what some have described as a pit of Venomous Vipors). I'm sure "some" of you can understand the bitter taste in my mouth from all the venom and arrogance floating around here sometimes. Of course this doesn't condone my comments that were seen by some as rude and possibly arrogant. Perhaps we should all take some anti-venom along with our insulin next time we inject.
I would certainly like to think that I am more than welcome to speak with other diabetics and their loved ones on this site. I "do" have a lot to contribute alongside you all. I've had this disease and been sticking and jabbing myself for a decade now and have made some efforts to meet and emphathize with diabetics "across our country" and else-where.
Along with this apology I want to also clear up any false notions that I am anti-semetic or a bigot in any way. I studied Judaism throughout my university years. Both my dear Grandmothers are war brides. One that lived in the Netherlands when she first met my Grandfather and can tell you how she smelt burning Jews from concentration camps near-by and how their family "harbored" Jews in an effort to get them out of the country; only so that they could face different discriminations in England and other parts of the Diaspora. My other Maternal Grandmother was a Dutch Jew(Ashkenazic) living in England at the time in an orthodox neighborhood although she was always non-practising. The last time I checked Jewishness was passed down Maternally; as far as it's blood lineage component anyways. If you all must know I am circumsized, read the torah but confess to be a Jew for Jesus. If any of you remember my stop over at parliament in T.O. during our cross Canada fundraising effort you will remember that along side the likes of Al, I was also accompanied by only one other friend of mine that happened to show up. That happened to be David (Gold) my very best friend throughout University. Yes guys I hate Jews.....Com' on'!!! I hate myself and my friends at York. Jesus was also a Jew and I not only like him, I also try to follow and worship him. I humbly ask for your apologies. But are any other apologies in order?!
