AL
You can rant all you want about this horrific obsenity against our country. I wish I and most of the people I know could just move beyond shock into anger. I live withing 20 miles of NYC. Everyday there are more memorial services for the victims in our town and surrounding towns. My son just went to one for the father of a boy on his high school soccer team. We know many people who were over there when it occured, including police and firemen. We are fortunate, those we know were only injured.
Many people we know have lost someone. Like the rest of the country, everyone is giving blood, hanging flags and collecting for the Red Cross. My son won't even collect for the JDF walk, but is telling people to give to the Red Cross this year. Everyone talks about it constantly and yet everyone seems to be in a state of disbelief. Perhaps it is just to close to us - someplace we have all been many times. It is too tragic to really be true. So keep ranting Al, it's somehow comforting to see how angry people are. I don't even think people around here can give into anger totally yet - it would be too overwhelming -or maybe we just need to get through the grief first.
Sorry for going on so long
Linda
