Hi Ellen,
Thank you for your kind words. All of us are fine. The boys have adjusted very well. They love the area, and they like the kids they've met so far and their new school. The Puget Sound area is stunningly beautiful, and I have to make a concerted effort to pay attention while I'm driving to and from work so I don't run off the road while I gawk - especially when the mountains come out.
I have not kept up with diabetes research as I used to, and I don't have nearly the time and energy I did to read and call and check on things. Right now we are just learning about our new environs and trying to get settled in. It's taking much longer than I thought it would, but it will come.
