Here is another link that I found thought-provoking. I think it helps to know and understand your enemy. And they ARE enemies, not just of my country and Israel. I can't say that I agree with everything in this article, particularly some of the conclusions stated at the end of it, but it added to my understanding of the terrorists.
I don't care where they came from, what they went through, what they survived. There is no justification in the slaughter of almost 7,000 innocent, civilian people. Osama bin Laden is the modern day, albeit magnified equivalent of Charles Manson. I wish he had turned his intelligence and charisma to causes that might benefit someone. No one benefits from this.
