How is your great bike adventure going? The cross-country trip is something I always wanted to do. I know three people that have made the trip (now four). I just recently started to ride again coupled with the Zone diet. The combination works wonders on my blood sugar and insulin usage. My basal insulin is down 20% and my daytime use of Humalog is down about 25%. In addition the lows are not a problem (I keep my fingers crossed) and the highs have all but disappeared. Keep on biking....
