Get somebody to lay on hands.

Alan:

I am not a deeply religious man. I do go to church and I do believe in God but the old and New Testament are silent on these issues. Even my parish priest who is very knowledgeable on the topic does not condemn those that are for the procedure. He calls on parishioners to love those that have had abortions not to condemn them. He is correct in this view. My opposition to Government funding is rooted in two very important principles. First, I think that the government should not be funding morally controversial research. It is wrong in my view. Second, there is a question of the slippery slope, when life begins, and were this research leads. I do not profess to be smart enough to know the answers to these questions but I know that it is a potentially dangerous path.

Now as to the quote above. I find your characterization offensive. You belittle the faith of others. I realize that your kids are suffering as I suffer also but that is not an excuse to belittle the faith or beliefs of others. Is this fair or right?

Peace
Steve
