Save your breath, it will just make this person more self-righteous and defensive.

Our motivation for a cure is the betterment of our families lives, our friends and the world. We want to heal the body so that we can take on more, and help more people. Finding a cure should not be about an irrational attachment to the body, for the body will die no matter what. You'lldie with a bg of 300 the same as 120. If when I die there is something viable, an organ in me that could be used for any worthwhile purpose I freely offer it. It is stated in my living will and organ donation card. Likewise, preventing a cure should not based on attachment or ego-grasping as well.

Humanity should strive to end all suffering. I do not believe these embryos meet the criteria for having rights because they do not have the bodily mechanism to sense pain, or recognize it as their own, consciousness is up for grabs. Curing diabetes by using stem cell research should done after a careful analysis of its karma :), cause and effect.
