Not sure I understand your point.
My point is that you can't allow one and not the other--whole organ from a newborn who's parents have chosen to discontinue life support and sign off for federally funded research on the cadaver vs. federally funded embryonic stem cell with permission of biological parents.
There are those that argue that the blastocyte has the same rights as a birthed baby so to take cells before discarding is immoral...but taking an organ from a (Dr. and parent induced) deceased baby is o.k.
The baby on life support has no chance at a "real life." Neither does the invitro fertilized life form.
I celebrated the 4th today, poolside, at my sister's home where our Catholic Priest was a guest...so I am not beaming w/pride in bringing these points up!! :/
