Thanks for the update, good to hear positive results in this step.
From the write up:
"This result confirms that a relatively rigid site like the diaphragm is all that is required to prevent fibrosis of the Islet Sheet."
and:
"Based on these results we plan soon to start experiments that attach Islet Sheets with islets to the liver, diaphragm and pancreas of dogs with diabetes."

How will this translate in the need for easy retrievability in humans. Will this new turn most likely make insertion and retrieval a 'major' operation? I recall that the hope was to be able to create a small incision, then "unroll" the sheet to suture internally, and also be able to retrieve if necessary from a similar incision.
