"Noble" is a stretch, Therese.

I said that I considered it to ADA's credit that they simply list the program themes but do not attempt to dictate the content of the researcher's presentations within those themes. The key speakers compose and present their own work or discoveries in their own words; and additional poster presenters are allowed space to showcase their studies (some that absolutely disagree with the ADA party line on a given issue) providing the work they wish to present meets generally accepted standards of medical research.

To my knowledge, the Scientific Sessions are the only showcase of A-Z diabetes research held in the U.S. I disagree with ADA on many things, but I don't understand how ADA welcoming diabetes researchers from around the world to present their work at the these annual events is either "fundamentally wrong" or "deceptive". Please explain why you see it this way?

Robin
