The big question with this research is how quickly the stem cells can produce islets and at what quantity. I think this research aims to produce islets from cardaver pancreas not simply giving diabetics islet regenerating proteins ie like ingap. If the supply could be overcome then encapsulation , immunosuppression (anticd154) would still be required. Simon
