This is unlike the other seemingly easy cures in mice. In those the are just disrupting what seems to be a weak diabetic process (even if it is predictable) and mice are easily cured compared to humans. This, however, is showing that stem cells or duct cells in mice can be coerced to become islet cells. Hence, a possible vast source of islet cells to cure mice.

Nice first step. A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step but you have to take the next and the next. I would like to see pig then monkey then human. Ah, heck why not see them in parallel.

ISM and Encelle need to get things moving too. We will likely need those technologies. I know they are working but it is never fast enough for me.
