The ADA has a convention in San Antonio in the spring (summer?) A peaceful public protest outside the entry gates displaying signs expressing the opinion that there ARE people who feel ADA IS NOT representing our children well (funding Cures) may be embarrassing them enough to become a little more focused on doing just that. I don't see how it could hurt.
This is not a new idea on my part. For those who were not 'around' at the time, check the earliest TIF archives (Sept/Oct 97) It was done effectively (IMO) by three seperate 'TIF parties.' Perhaps those parties would be willing to lend advice from their experience. Or maybe it is something they'd rather forget.
Some may feel that by working 'within' the ADA to create a change by establishing relationships is the way to go. That might be fine if a Cure for future grandchildren is what we seek. I'd like my son cured in his lifetime.
Any Texas withing driving distance to San Antonio?
