That would explain why INGAP is featured on the DIF website again. This could either be good news or bad news:

1. Good news, in that INGAP is back in the hands of people who have no conflict of interest with an existing insulin business.

2. Bad news, in that Lilly may have decided the technology could not induce islet neogenesis, and hence was neither a threat nor an opportunity.

Leann, can you shed any light on the history of INGAP and Lilly? I know that big companies sometimes foolishly do not pursue opportunities that prove to be goldmines, and maybe this is such a case.
