Thank-you so much for sharing this post and thank-you to Dr. Ricordi for showing us that he and his staff do care so much and are so determined to rid my son and everyone else of this devastating disease. Do I cry alot when I read this board - probably all the time. I cry as I read other parents talk about the same constant fears I have for my son. But I also cry when I see that here is HOPE - such as when I read your letter. Thank-you for sharing and reassuring us that you will not stop until you find the CURE. (Then I can cry for a year and I will enjoy every second of it!)
