I always look for ways to improve my children's diabetic care.
It has always been a forgone conclusion that bg's are not stable with the current "control" method. The aim to date is to target a "respectable" average and that is all the technology we have to achieve. Even if you discover an abhorant bg, you still only have the current insulins to treat it..if I discover that one of my kids is "high" at a non-injection time and treat it with more humolog, we invariably treat (FEED) a low number later...our tools to date are too crude to accomplish truly normal glucose levels at all times.
I just can't get too excited about this development as it is.
It seems it will add still more pressure and frustration with little payoff.

Mom of three,
Julie S.
