I'm with you on this, Ellen. I can't find the Diabetes Interview that the article was in. I guess I did too much Christmas cleaning but I remember seeing it and finding it disturbing, especially given the huge advertising for the product in the publication. Information about these kinds of products is what I usually get from well-meaning people who know little about Type 1 diabetes. In fact I have a tape that a student gave me recently to listen to about natural products that are sure to get me off insulin, a tape that someone else also gave me awhile ago. I don't mind people giving me these things when their intentions are noble. But it's not what I expect to read about in a magazine such as the Diabetes Interview. Let us know what Scott King's response to you is. We know that editors of the publication read here. Perhaps they would like to comment publicly.
