I can second a vote of confidence for the Dex. Using a 10 test cartridge is a big improvement over strips and it has the aesthetic advantage of sucking the tiny drop into a capillary, so there's no exposed drop of blood to shock the faint of heart. The software is helpful, too.
Still, I can't quite grasp why islets are so out of reach. Maybe in the millenneum?
