Thanks for the suggestion, but I think TIF is most effective pressuring those who SHOULD be funding quality cure research (NIH, NIDDK, JDF, ADA, MRC, etc) to do everything to advance a cure for diabetes. I think as a direct funding body, TIF may be comprimised. I would be happy to talk to anybody who wanted to donate money to finding a cure for diabetes where I think the donation would have the greatest effect, and to let that person donate directly.
