Al makes about as superb a fundraiser as I would, and that's not saying a whole lot. ;-)
I'll bet he's collected far, far less in the past year than what his expenses have amounted to for trips to Washington and elsewhere covering xenotransplantation and cure-related affairs for us.
I inquired to Al early this year whether my donations to TIF could be earmarked for my favorite cure research entity (Encelle for me). I got a hearty "YES" in response, and assume that still applies. I did make a donation last year, but as many times as I've met Canadian Al over here in Greenville NC, helping to promote Encelle, I didn't see a whole lot of need to dictate to him how the money was spent. :)
