Take one day at a time. You can do the best you can do each day. Much of learning how to juggle diabetes is through trial and error. Be kind to yourself.
The Children With Diabetes website offers tremendous support to parents, especially in their chat room that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They also have a wealth of information including a list of books to read when you feel ready. (I suggest you start with the book Sweet Kids by Brackenridge and Rubin.)
You have lots of friends in cyberspace who share your feelings and bewilderment. Lean on us. We're here for you.
