You may want to do PubMed and other searches to get explicit details. I don't know how it actually works, myself, and I don't care; all I know is that my son and I don't produce it in the way it was meant to be produced. You'll probably have to wade through a lot of info before you find what you're looking for, but I'm sure you'll succeed.
