Let's hope it gets FDA's blessing on February 26. Surely this development is proof positive that charitable foundations and the government do not need to fund the development of continuous glucose sensors. Minimed are very open about their goal of "a consumer device targeting the market for glucose strips and meters, currently estimated to be in excess of $3 billion annually".
