I had the same reaction to this article. I read more upbeat predictions on progress toward a cure than this ten years ago when my son was first diagnosed. This really is discouraging, but it underscores the need to target and fund qualified researchers who believe a cure is possible now, and who have the dedication and passion to make it happen.
